VO2MAX — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 24 August 2026
Last updated: 26 August 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how VO2MAX ("we", "us", or "our") processes personal data when you use the VO2MAX iPhone and Apple Watch applications and related services (the "Service").
For privacy questions or requests, contact let.me.mvp.it@gmail.com with the subject VO2MAX privacy request.
2. Information we process
Depending on the features you use, we process:
- Account information, if you choose Sign in with Apple: your account ID, Apple account identifier, Apple private-relay email if Apple provides one, registration date, last active date, and the versions of legal documents you accepted.
- Training profile: age range, training experience, preferred running days, current weekly volume, workout-duration preferences, goals, target date, and information you enter about readiness, effort, pain, fatigue, or symptoms.
- Apple Health data you authorize: workouts, heart rate, resting heart rate, VO₂ max, heart-rate variability, sleep, distance, active energy, and related fitness information.
- Workout location: while you record an outdoor run, Apple Watch may process GPS coordinates to calculate distance and create the route shown with your workout result.
- Training information: your plan, completed and skipped sessions, heart-rate zones, workout results, recommendations, reminders, and calendar settings.
- Purchase information: App Store product and transaction information needed to provide and restore VO₂ Pro access. Apple processes payment-card and billing information.
- Technical information: app and operating-system version, device type, errors, and limited request metadata that infrastructure providers may process for security and reliability.
3. Apple Health and on-device processing
Apple Health and workout-location access are optional and controlled by your device settings. In the current version, authorized Apple Health data, GPS workout routes, workout analysis, plans, and recovery signals are processed and stored on your devices and in Apple Health. They are not uploaded to your registered account.
You can use VO2MAX without creating an account. In this local-profile mode, VO2MAX does not create a registered account or registration profile. Your plan, workout history, route previews, preferences, and recommendations remain on your iPhone and paired Apple Watch, subject to the Apple services you choose to enable.
VO2MAX may write workouts, distance, and routes recorded on Apple Watch to Apple Health after you grant the required permissions. The iPhone app stores a reduced route preview with the local workout result so it can display the route card. We do not use Apple Health or workout-location data for advertising, marketing, data brokerage, or targeted advertising. You can withdraw Apple Health or Location access at any time in the Health app or device Settings.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- create, authenticate, secure, and administer your account if you choose to register;
- generate and display your running plan;
- guide workouts and analyze progress and recovery;
- provide reminders and calendar synchronization you enable;
- provide and restore subscriptions;
- troubleshoot failures, prevent misuse, and protect the Service; and
- respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
Where the GDPR applies, optional account creation and requested app features are processed to perform our contract with you; optional Health, notification, and calendar access is based on your permission or consent; security and reliability processing is based on our legitimate interests; and legally required records are processed to comply with law.
5. Service providers and disclosures
We disclose data only as needed to operate the Service:
- Apple: Sign in with Apple, Apple Health, Apple Watch, Calendar, notifications, App Store purchases, and subscription management. Apple processes data under its own terms and privacy policy.
- Service infrastructure: secure account authentication and the protected registration profile if you choose Sign in with Apple, plus hosting of these legal pages and standard security and delivery logs for page requests. Account data is hosted in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
- Professional advisers and authorities: where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misuse, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not sell personal data, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or disclose Apple Health data to advertising platforms or data brokers.
6. Retention and deletion
Your registered account and registration profile are retained while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Delete Account in the App. You can also email let.me.mvp.it@gmail.com with the subject VO2MAX account deletion if you cannot access the App. Account deletion removes your account and registration profile and signs you out, subject to records we must retain by law or need for security and legal claims.
Deleting your account in the App also removes locally stored plans, workout history and route previews, preferences, notification schedules, and VO2MAX-created calendar events from that device. Workouts and routes written to Apple Health are controlled separately through Apple Health and are not deleted by VO2MAX. You can review or delete those records in Apple Health.
If you use a local profile, select Profile → Settings → Account → Clear Local Data and Exit to remove the local plan, workout history and route previews, preferences, scheduled notifications, VO2MAX-created calendar events, and the synchronized plan on Apple Watch. This does not remove workouts or routes already written to Apple Health and does not cancel an App Store subscription.
Deleting the App by itself does not automatically delete your registered account. Use Delete Account before removing the App or contact us for assistance.
7. International transfers
We and our providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms and appropriate safeguards. Mandatory privacy rights in your location always prevail.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent, or receive a portable copy of personal data. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
To exercise a right, email let.me.mvp.it@gmail.com. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and request.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly create accounts for, or collect personal data from, children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal data should contact us.
10. Security
We use authentication, encrypted transport, row-level database access controls, and access restrictions intended to protect personal data. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service, providers, or law changes. We will update the date above and provide any additional notice required by law.
